Hidden away on the banks of the Great Kei River lies a small valley surrounded by cycad-strewn cliffs, eagle-view koppies and fig-cradled forests. The local Xhosa tribes describe this place as 'kwanto zonke' - 'here is everything'. Nestled in this secluded nature reserve you will find a rustic lodge, where harmony and tranquility resonate with the ebb and flow of the tide.

The pulse of the River is felt in everything here: whether you are gliding along in our kayaks, hiking to hidden pools, fishing for the legendary cob, or simply watching sunset turn the cliffs to gold as the crowned cranes fly home to roost.
